Change Your Mindset – Change Your Life
This board is in the hallway of our Freshman building. I find it inspirational as well as a daily reminder that I am the only person who can decide if I’ll be positive or negative for the day. Each one of us has the power of choice. Do you choose to believe the best or verbalize the worst?
Instead of starting the class off with “I’m so tired,” decide to change your mindset to “something good is going to happen to me at school today”.
Instead of “I can’t do this,” decide to change your mindset to “this may take some time and effort but I can learn this.” And you can! But it begins with your decision to believe the best about yourself and what you can do.
Woody Allen coined the term that “80% of success in life is just showing up.” And I’ll add complete success comes when we decide to change our mindset to a positive “I can do this” attitude.
